So I've had a bunch of pictures from Taiwan on my computer for dayyyz but the internet connection suckkks. If any of you have skyped with me, you might know of these troubles I've been having. Anyway, I might have to resort to just putting photos up on my blog over the weekends when I am at my uncles house (with a better connection)...or...... I don't know.
Regardless, I have orientation on Wednesday, and class begins on Thursday! So exciting! I have to make friends so I can go out at night without my cousins :-).
(hotties swing my waaay....)....
I got my nails did today. Black with a CalGel flower/rhinestones. Lightweight tight. Dumbweight expensive. I guess thats what I get for going to a trendy Japanese spot.
I am getting my hair cut/dyed professionally for the first time in a year and a half tomorrow. Wow. It's been so long. I hope I don't have an orange mullet when I leave.
Jk, these chicks are pros.
Maxine (my beautiful sister with the big boobs and luscious booty, who I miss dearly) tells me I talk too much about material things on this blog. But I sweaaar it's because I don't have the pictures up to show you all of the sightseeing (aka window shopping & wandering the streets of Taipei) I've been doing.
For instance, today was one of the first days I was really alone. No cousins to show me around, no "adult supervision". It was really nice having this freedom because my whole family worries about me and makes sure to remind me to eat breakfast, wear a jacket, and not let my heart fully control all of the relationships with men/boys in my life.
So anyway, today I went to Breeze Center to meet my aunt and her friend for lunch at Dean & Deluca. After, I ventured on the subway (which is so clean and comes every 3 minutes in every direction) to Warner Village. Both of these places are malls. The malls here are sooo legit. Super clean and upscale (Chloe, Gucci, Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton etc) but also have trendy shops that I can actually afford. Since the weather is often unbearable outside, it's nice to go into the air-conditioned mall to just walk around and pass the time. So yea, it was fun to leisurely walk wherever, and do whatever, and then be home by 6:30 for dinner.
I am super juiced for school, super bummed at the thought of exams and homework and papers, but overall, JUIIICED.
I miss you all. I miss the people I talk to everyday, and I miss the ones I hardly ever speak with.
I might have a friend visiting me here in Taiwan soon, if he's down to stay at the nearby hotel (conservative Chinese aunt/uncle).
Love always.
